The Travails of being tall…
The Travails of being tall… (truly from the heart)
1. You are always privileged to clean the ceiling fans of your house.. :-s hmmm! Imagine doing that on an early Sunday morning!
2. You are tagged the “official ladder” of your house - Anything above your Mom's height, and you are called to fetch it. (never understood why on earth is it put up so high..)
3. All the Airplane economy seats are for people below 6 feet in height. Imagine sitting for 8 hours in a flight with your knees hitting the seat before you :-s.. Buses & trains - least said the better.
4. Your reflexes work on every arch that you come across, making other people around you give you a cunning smile.. (what the hell.. it’s the fear of getting hurt that makes us bend.. people will never understand)
5. Clothes: you spend hours changing in and out of clothes - if the waist matches, the height doesn’t and if you take one for your height, you can easily accommodate one more person into it.. (should I mention shoes => all the ones I like are with heels.. thanks to the designers.. I could never buy one)
6. Watching a movie in a theatre is more of an exercise that fun, with the person on the back seat always asking you to lower your head..
7. I think we need to even watch our weight much much more than others.. a little too much makes us look masculine and a little too less makes us look skeletons.. :-S
If you think this is it.. lets talk of vehicles, or then the low ceilings in changing rooms, or then looking for a life partner.. I could go on and on..
