Contemplating!!

Have u wondered what the biggest connector is when u are in conversation with your loved one in a long distance relationship? I guess the best connector’s are.. ‘I love you’/‘missing you’. When u get stuck on thoughts… just spill these across... and u will make Ur sweet conversation even sweeter...

Or then a conversation with a friend after a really long time.. the best connector is ‘tell me something more’/’nice hearing you’.. it surprising how they just work wonders..

Its weird but at times you have so much to talk that time seems to run by and at times you are struggling for words (not coz you have no topics to talk but then there is so much that you don’t actually understand where to begin).. thanks to these connectors which just give you that space to think and get going.. :)

People I would surely meet in hell.. :)

Its been quite some time here now and I think this is the most awaited blog that I had to pen down.. Its always strange how you meet people somewhere on your journey and they start to one by one appear in the pictures of your reminisces.. This blog is totally for all those people whom I met in my visit to Belgium.. (this list is inclusive and would be updated soon)

To begin with here’s the pic..

I don’t know what to call this entire gang.. all of them are crazy, irritating, totally unsophisticated, filthy and suck at their sense of humor.. but on the other hand are very down to earth, amazingly cooperative and totally adorable.. all of them have something or the other which just singles them out and yet they are a group in every single picture that we click on our outings.. so here is a sneak peak into all of them in random order..

Madhuja – would be too complicated to define her in a few words.. there are just too many shades of this beautiful looking girl.. she is smart and carries an attitude difficult to match and cope along with.. would not say a very good cook but has mastered the skill of surprising people with her amazing experiments on food.. off hand blunt and straight forward that’s how she is.. for me she has been totally understanding and a sweetheart at all times.. one common liking between us is smiling for the camera.. people call us happydent (comment to be forgotten post this read).. anyways love u for everything.. and always keep smiling.. :)

Vishal – surprising that all the Vishal’s that I have come across are short.. and so is this one.. but totally against the odd he is the mastermind behind every prank that happens around.. a restless soul with the energy level that could give an sportsman a complex.. what I totally hate about him is the huge decibels in which he sings (its not the singing that’s irritating but the tone that’s sickening).. but on the better side, he could bring a smile on your face anytime (there would hardly be anyone who would get bored with his company).. very expressive and what I adore, is his sense of timing.. he just cannot get unnoticed anywhere he goes.. way to go vishal.. :)

Somnath – I think its with his name.. he is the only boy in the team who has manners, decency and not to die for but yet a very pleasant personality.. he should be called a saint – one: for he is the only chilled out soul in the lot of 9 and the only one who could bear every single one of us for all the nuisances we do.. our very own personal photographer as we call him and a gem of a person by heart.. love you for everything.. and wish you great success where ever you go..

Ravi – haha.. I think its difficult to put in words a character like him.. all those who know him would agree that the one thing you see every time is his ear to ear smile.. any incidence of either ignorance or laughter doesn’t happen unless Ravi has had his say.. he suits his roomie (vishal) perfectly both in terms of mischief and love for songs.. remain the same always.. :)

Amol – I call him a tanki (storage tank) for the amount of drinks he could have in a go and still be in all his senses.. totally blunt when he talks and a freak for posing for pictures.. on the other side he is an amazing cook and loves traveling (something we share in common).. wish you good luck..

Total timepass..

I just discovered this photo editing link while surfing the net.. and since I had lots of time on my hands (special credit to my roomie who was out until dinner), I got myself busy with this unproductive and stupid activity.. and yet found it totally hilarious ;)

i could post hundred's of them.. but somehow feel it to be totally against the always so 'low profile' me.. :)
PS: if you think i am totally obsessed with myself.. i wouldnt quite disagree to it..

A month and more....

Last month passed in a whirlwind of activity - met 100s of people, smiled up at total strangers many of whom have already turned into casual friends, attended a few dozens of meetings (half of which I don’t remember making notes of either), went out sight seeing with a bunch of unknown faces ofcourse whom now I totally can connect with, worked and partied at the same time with people I had never seen before and strangely but absolutely felt being at home in a place I had just recently shifted to, Belgium.

Its a weird combination of people both at the office and residence. There are masters, doctors, financial analysts, people from media, healthcare, IT and the ‘everywhere present’ engineers as well. So when we talk, its almost always different sides of an issue that we see (these days it’s the stock exchange and who has lost how much money) haha. Its fun and sometimes a little annoying too, but everyone's trying hard to make the other guy feel at ease.

The apartment is amazing and the infrastructure and facilities on offer are absolutely first class. All rooms are air conditioned and serviced by the always smiling House Keeping guys, which basically means that your bed is made and the rooms cleaned every day you walk into your room in the evening (ok.. now that’s an exaggeration but yes the bed is made once every week). There is a fully equipped kitchen where of course you need to do the cooking and in my case its always the neighbors (I have a few colleagues staying there), a huge living room with a sofa in the perfect direction to make you feel totally cozy either watching the tv or then just lazying around with a book, there are two gardens on either side of the apartment, a huge shopping alley 2 minutes walk from home and a recreation and hobby store right outside the house. But yes twenty four hours of the day seem just too less to enjoy all of this and with me already a month old in there its even worse..

All in all its a beautiful place with a very cool bunch of people and so far amazing weather.. :)

Facing some issues with the layout.. :(

Would take time to get things back in shape.. wish this was as easy as switching tv channels..

Cheers!!

How many times have you lifted a toast for someone or some occasion or then just generally said cheers before a drink.. in numerable right.. but how many of us know why we cling the glasses before we drink?

They say drinking, be it a simple coke, a glass of beer or then the most exquisite champagne, is an art in itself.. It is done so as to involve all the 5 senses of the human body.

so when we pick a glass in our hand and sip the drink..
we touch the glass, we see the color, we smell the drink and we taste it...

but Hearing is left aside. hence to involve the sense of listening we cling the glasses before a drink.

Amazing isn’t it.. as they say.. every action has a hidden meaning.. you just need to ponder a little deeper.. :)

Ps: Courtesy the recent brewery visit in Brugge.. pictures of which will be uploaded soon..
